Civil Ceremonies at Glenlo Abbey
Make a grand entrance on your wedding day, with an intimate ceremony in our 18th Century Abbey. A stone-cut abbey, with original features, clock tower, archway, vaulted ceilings and gothic stained glass windows that offer views overlooking the rose garden and walled garden. Suitable for up to 40 guests.
The stone built Abbey, which gives the house its name, was constructed for the use of Lady Ffrench in the 1790's, who died before it was consecrated and now serves as a unique wedding venue. Located next to the elegant Ffrench Room and Palmer Bar, ideal for your post ceremony drinks reception.
For larger ceremonies, our Corrib Suite which offers panoramic views overlooking the estate, caters for up to 170 guests.
We also have the option to host an outdoor wedding ceremony in our Wedding Garden, which offers views overlooking the estate.
