Afternoon tea at Glenlo Abbey hotel is a truly special experience.
The elegant surroundings and faultless presentation make it a memorable occasion aided by friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff.
Served Sunday to Friday, from 2 - 6pm, in the elegant surroundings of the Victorian inspired Ffrench Room, named after the Ffrench Family, one of the 14 Tribes of Galway, who built Glenlo Abbey in 1740.
And on Saturdays, from 1pm - 4pm aboard our Pullman Restaurant. Two of the original carriages from the Orient Express.
Relax by the welcoming open fires or take a seat by the window and enjoy panoramic views over the estate grounds and onto Lough Corrib. The Ffrench Room sets an intimate space to linger over a delicious afternoon tea.
Dainty assortments include freshly baked scones, Kylemore Abbey jams, seasonal sandwiches, and decadent pastries, macaroons and cakes served with loose leaf tea, herbal tea selection or freshly brewed coffee.
