    2. Do I have to pay to join?  
    No, the scheme is completely free of charge
     
     
    3. Which hotels are included? 
    Points can be earned from both the Harbour Hotel Galway and the Glenlo Abbey Hotel Galway. Points are not earned from any other hotel within the Lalco Group at present.
     
    4. What are the benefits of membership? 
    a) Online access to your negotiated company rates for both hotels via a secure area of our website.
    b) Bookers can start earning points for every booking they make in either hotel. 
    c) Preferred corporate rates for your colleagues and clients.
    d) Rewards can be used however you like whether this be for yourself, for your sports and social club or for any employee incentive scheme you may offer – it’s completely up to you.  
     
    5. How do I earn points for accommodation I book?
    A member of our sales team will track your account history every month and will award your points, an account update will then be emailed to you monthly. Remember to quote your company name when booking.

    7. How do I make sure I earn points for my stays? 
    You must book direct with the hotel either via the hotel's own website or via phone or email. Points are not awarded if you make your bookings via a third party website or through an intermediary. You must quote company name at the time of booking. Should the guest be booking themselves, the same applies.
     
    8. What if I forget to mention my company name and membership number at the time of booking? 
    Please contact hotel within 7 days (or before the end of the current months booking) of booking and we will add your points to your account manually.
     
     
    9. Do I earn points for the total value of my room bill on departure? 
    No, 1 point is awarded per 1 nights stay. Extra points are not awarded on any other ancillary spend within the hotel, i.e. food and beverage items etc.
     
    10. How many points do I earn for each room or meeting/event I book? 
    For every room night you book you earn 1 point. For every €100.00 spent on company meetings and events you earn 1 point. Please note points are not earned on third party services supplied by the hotel e.g. technicians and equipment hire, bands etc. Points are not earned on bar spend and/or other extra’s that are purchased from individual delegates/attendees. Points will also be rounded down to the nearest €100 spent on meeting room bookings.
     
     
    11. Can I combine points for the Harbour Hotel and the Glenlo Abbey Hotel?  
    Yes. 
     
    12. If I make a group booking, can I earn points on all rooms? 
    Yes, but again remember, points can only be earned when booking direct with the hotel and not through a 3rd party or intermediary.
     
     
    13. What rates do not qualify for points? 
    Loyalty points are not earned when accommodation or meeting and events have been booked through a 3rd party or intermediary. 
     
    14. When will I be notified about how many points I have earned?
    We aim to have your updated account information emailed to you within two weeks of the previous month end.
     
     
    15. When do my points expire?  
    Points not redeemed by the 31st December each year will automatically expire. 
     
    16. Can I transfer my points to another member?  
    No - Points are non-transferable.
     
     
    17. How many points do I need to earn a reward?
    The minimum number of points required to earn a reward is 20.
     
    18. How do I redeem as reward? 
    Make direct contact with your account manager who will take care of everything and send on written confirmation.
     
     
    19. I didn't receive my reward. What should I do?
    In this very unlikely case, contact your account manager who will rectify the situation.
     
    20. Are there any times when I cannot use my reward? 
    Yes, due to busy periods, certain rewards will not be available such as accommodation during July and August, other date exclusions may also apply for all rewards however we will always try where we can.
     
    Terms and Conditions

    o Redemptions must be processed through a member of the Sales Team
    o Points are accumulated in Jan – Dec and must be redeemed by Dec 31st of that year

    o Membership number/ Company name to be included in any correspondence to ensure points are allocated correctly.
