Glenlo Abbey Ladies' Golf
Glenlo Abbey Ladies’ Golf Club
The Ladies Club is a very sociable group of ladies who enjoy their golf, and, as importantly, enjoy the social element of golf with coffee and chats in the Oak Cellar Bar.
Ladies Golf competitions are held on a Monday and Saturday. You can book your tee time online using the BRS system on the website.
On the first Saturday of each month they host an eighteen hole competition and golf scrambles are organised on a regular basis.
“Each time I enter the gates of Glenlo, the stunning panorama of the beautiful manicured golf course unfolds and Lough Corrib comes into view and I leave the world behind. I invite you to leave the world behind and join us for another great year of golf,” Ann Rabbitt Lady Captain.
The best way to meet other members and to organise games is to play in our competitions. Nobody has qualms about playing with a beginner, provided you know golf’s basic information, rules and etiquette, and are prepared to keep up with the pace of play. We also have a buddy system, so if you would like to play the course or have any queries, feel free to contact Proshop@glenloabbey.ie; your email will be forwarded to the relevant committee member.
