Aran Island Ferries

This family-owned business offers daily sailings to the Aran Islands, all year-round, with a new dock located in Galway city. The Aran Islands offer visitors a glimpse into traditional Irish life and culture. The islands offer breath-taking scenery, ecclesiastical ruins and world-renowned stone forts. These three rocky limestone outcrops are a bastion of traditional language, culture, music and history on the edge of Europe.

Galway Bay Boat Tours

Kayakmór Tours

The kayak is the perfect craft to explore shallow bays and inlets which are normally out of the reach of lake boats. Both full and half day sessions available all year round and tours are tailored to each individuals own experience. Learn the basics of paddling all the way up to experienced racing sea kayaks.

Fishing with a Ghillie

The most picturesque surroundings, make fishing on lough Corrib with a Ghillie the perfect afternoon or evening activity. Nothing can capture the beauty of Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate better, than viewing it from the perspective of the Lough Corrib. Once upon the boat, our experienced ghillie, Jim Riddell will enhance your experience with his vast knowledge and expertise.

Corrib Princess

A tour of the largest lake in Republic of Ireland, Lough Corrib. The tour departs just as short 10 min drive from the hotel in Woodquay. Once aboard guests will be taken on a guided tour of the River Corrib past many national heritage sites and some beautiful views not normally seen. This leads uninterrupted to scenic views of Lough Corrib where the 365 Islands dotted around the lake offer a rich variety of untouched plant and wildlife. The boat does offer a range of light refreshments and the tour takes approx. 90 mins to complete.
