At Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate our priority is the safety of our hotel guests and our team. Please find below an update on what we are doing to ensure maximum flexibility for your bookings and your wellbeing when you stay with us.

Social Distancing
• We have adapted all of our public areas to comply with Government guidelines.  Signage will be in place in all areas to remind our guests to maintain social distancing, and our team are trained to ensure we are compliant at all times.
• We have limited seating in our bar and restaurant area to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.  Due to this all meal times will need to be booked in advance.  This can be done prior to your stay by contacting us on 091 519600 or email  info@glenloabbey.ie

Cleaning and Sanitising
• Hand sanitising stations are installed at all entrances and exits, public areas, front desk, bar and restaurant, and elevators.
• We have increased cleaning in public areas, all surfaces are regularly sanitised, our staff have ben fully trained and we are using approved cleaning agents.

Guest Rooms
• Our rigorous cleaning schedule has been elevated to ensure that all touch points in a guest room are fully sanitised between stays.
• Our Housekeeping team have been fully trained in sanitising procedures, using approved cleaning agents and are provided with all necessary PPE.
• For multiple night stays our Housekeeping team will not enter a guest room unless requested by the occupants.
• We have reduced the items in a guest room to eliminate unnecessary touch points.  Magazines, menus, guest directories and brochures are available on request. 

Bar & Restaurant
• We have increased cleaning in our Kitchen, Bar, Restaurant and all preparation areas.  All surfaces are regularly sanitised.
• Our Food & Beverage team have been fully trained in sanitising procedures, using approved cleaning agents and are provided with all necessary PPE.
• We are using single use menus, condiments and napkins in all areas.
• Guest are asked to remain seated in the Bar & Restaurant area and table service will be provided. 
• All tables are set at a 2 metre distance to ensure social distancing.

Reception
• We have changed the lay out of our Reception area to facilitate check in and check out while maintaining social distancing. 
• Guests are asked to provide a credit card for pre-authorisation on check in, and can avail of an express check out option on request. 

Cancellations
• Flexible Bookings made directly with the hotel:
All flexible bookings made directly through us or our website can be cancelled or amended up to 48 hours before arrival by contacting us on 091-519600 or email info@glenloabbey.ie
• Flexible Bookings made with third party websites:
Please contact the company the booking was made through and refer to their specific terms and conditions.  We are unable to action any requests if the booking was not made directly with the hotel.
• Advance Saver or Prepaid Bookings made directly with the hotel:
For bookings due to arrive before Sunday 19th July please contact us directly to rearrange your booking.
• Advance Saver or Prepaid Bookings made with third party websites:
