Walk or cycle through the grounds, as there is always something mesmerizing within sight, from the 18th Century Abbey, to the Iconic Orient Express carriages, there are wonders at every turn. Or take to the water to fish for brown trout and salmon on Lough Corrib with our expert ghillie, as his 40 years of experience enlightens and inspires, guests return to land astounded by their experience of a lifetime.

If on-land activity is more to your fancy, take in the stunning scenery from a different perspective, via horse and saddle enjoying a leisurely trek along the shores of the West of Irelands largest lake. Or enjoy a birds-eye view with a falconry experience, learning about some of Irelands most impressive birds of prey up close and personal, under the watchful eye of our experienced Falconry expert. Not to forget the Championship golf course, a playground for pros and beginners alike and if a round of golf seems too much, thee is the Glenlo Abbey 21 bay Driving Range for those who prefer a little more action. Through the abbey gates, by saddle, boat or bike, we have an activity that we think you will like.
