Set on the banks of Lough Corrib, the scenic Glenlo Abbey Golf Course is situated only 2.5 miles from the vibrant city of Galway. Designed by Ryder Cup legend Christy O’Connor Jr, the course has been recognised as one of the best 9 Hole Golf Courses in the Republic of Ireland.

The courses offers a unique and challenging experience to golfers of all levels, including a signature 4th hole on an island green. Located on the grounds of the 5 star Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate, the course welcomes visitors from around the world.

At Glenlo Abbey Golf Club we pride ourselves on offering the finest branded golf clothing and accessories for our members and visitors. We stock a range of crested items from Footjoy, Glenmuir, Druids & PRG. We stock all the top brands of balls, gloves, tees and other golf accessories.

Titleist golf clubs are available to rent in men’s, ladies, right & left handed, along with push trolleys and a fleet of golf buggies.

A one-stop shop for helpful tips and advice, along with a wide range of superior golfing equipment.

Monday-Friday: 8.30pm – 9.00pm
Saturday-Sunday: 8.30am – 8.00pm

Golf Course Dress Code

Golfers are asked to ensure that they conform to a good, neat and clean standard of dress.

All tops must have collars; tank tops, singlets, football jerseys are not permitted.
Appropriate golf slacks or tailored shorts may be worn with appropriate sports socks.
Trouser legs must not be tucked into socks.
Denim Jeans, Cargo Pants, Combats, Tracksuit Pants are not permitted.
Caps and Visors must be worn in a forward position.
Golf shoes must be worn (soft spikes are mandatory).

Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests adhere to the Club’s Dress Code.
